What happened when I saw The Mahadev in my dream?

Mahadev in my dream

Har Har Mahadev

The irony with me is I was a person who never used to worship Mahadev. Growing up in a family who are hard-core worshipers of Lord Krishna, for me God was (only) Krishna. Grandpa used to take me to the nearby Krishna temple for Arti every evening till the time Dad built a temple for him. I used to pray to God everyday (which I still do), but Mahadev was never in my prayers, not even once.

Then a day came in my life... Mahadev came in my life. I saw a dream in which I was going to the famous Vaishno Devi Temple. When I opened the door of the temple, I realized it was not Vaishno Devi Temple. I was surprised to see a huge beige color Shiv Lingam in front of me. Next moment, I was folding my hands and chanting "Har Har Mahadev". "Har Har Mahadev" was something which I had never said in my real life. I got to know from Grandma that the same kind of Shiv Lingam is located in one of the mountains in Manipur. She advised me that I should go there and offer prayers. When I went there, I was astonished to see that the Shiv Lingam was so similar to the one I saw in my dream.

Another day came in my life... I saw Mahadev - The God in my dream. I could see Him from very far but I was not able to reach Him as I was trapped in a maze. There were many people including my family and friends guiding me to reach Him, but I was not able to. On the contrary, I was going far from Him. But, I don't know how, the next moment I was right in front of Him. Oh My God! He looks SO HANDSOME, I have no words to express. The most amazing part is He spoke to me. There was no light coming out of Him but His voice echoed all over, it was something out of this world. The sad part is I didn't remember a word He said when I woke up.

There was a day when Mahadev didn't exist in my life and there is Today when I pray to Mahadev everyday, every moment - when I am happy, when I am sad, when I succeed, when I fail... When I breath.
