Just about today ... an interesting read 
Husband
likes my short hair but at the same time misses my long hair. He has
been insisting me to buy a wig and I have been denying. Without my
knowledge he booked an appointment with a Hair Wig Center. I wasn’t
interested at all but I went there just for his sake .
The
lady was happy to see us came on time but I was feeling little weird.
She showed me a wig which hair texture and color were similar to mine.
She said it’s natural hair wig, soft, beautiful bla bla bla. I said
okay. She put it on my head. I didn’t know if it was good, bad or ugly
but husband liked it. Seeing that he liked it I asked the price. The
lady said “28”. “28? 28 hundred ... oh my god? “ I reacted. She looked
at me with full disappointment and said “no Ma’am it’s 28 thousand.”
Holy cow, a wig for ₹28K 
.
Damn this hair thing is a highly profitable business, zero investment,
full return. Gals blessed with thick and beautiful hair can opt this as
an alternate source of income... just kidding .

wig reminded me of O. Henry short story “The Gift of the Magi” where
Della sells her long and beautiful hair for $20 to buy Christmas gift
for her husband.
